Objective:
Students are asked to create a collection of imagery, unique to themselves, that is suitable as part of a college art portfolio submission. Each collection of imagery should illustrate a visual interpretation of a personal interest or idea, growth of that idea and increased technical ability over an 18-week period. Students may choose from any personally accessible (manually adjustable) SLR photographic media for their collection, such as traditional black & white film and printing, color film or digital image capture with or without post manipulations in an Adobe Photoshop program, medium format film or infra red film. Students who choose to use multiple formats must show artistic intent as it relates to the growth of their idea.
